BMX / CYCLING
Movement Park is the place to be for all things bikes! Not only do we have our fantastic community led cycles in partnership with Scottish Cycling, we also have lots of other opportunities here at Movement Park, everything from our Wheelie Tots sessions, right through to Family Cycles, and BMX racing too!
Wheelie Tots: Our Movement Park Wheelie Tots sessions are for all those up on their feet and ready to explore. We have balance bikes, pedal bikes, scooters and skateboards available for your little tots to try out, building their confidence along the way.
Learn to Ride: Our Movement Park Learn to Ride sessions are for all those in P1+ who need a little extra help in learning to ride a bike. These sessions are based up at the Knightswood BMX Centre, and are a great starting point for those wanting to learn to ride, building their skills and knowledge.
Led Community Cycles: In partnership with Scottish Cycling, our free Rock Up and Ride, Led Community Cycles are a great way to get all the family together and out for bike rides within our local community. For these sessions we need everyone to be competent at riding a bike and in P1+. We will always be leaving from, and returning to Movement Park, so there is always the opportunity to take part in our other sessions too!
Introduction to the Track: Our Movement Park Introduction to Track sessions are for all those in P1+, who are confident in riding a bike, and looking for experience on the BMX Track. These sessions are based at Knightswood BMX Track, and once you have completed 6 sessions, you will be able to join our club sessions!
BMX Intermediate Club: Our Movement Park BMX Bandits Club is based up at Knightswood BMX Centre and is available to all those in P1+ once they have completed 6 Introduction to the Track sessions with Movement Park. Once you have completed the Introduction to the Track, this is your next step of BMXing, giving you the chance to continue to grow and develop in the world of BMXing.
BMX Racing Club: Our Movement Park BMX Bandits Club is based up at Knightswood BMX Centre and is the next step on the BMX journey with Movement Park. Once you have completed the Introduction to the Track, and have been within the Intermediate, you will be invited into the Racing Club as and when you are ready.
BMX Freestyle: Are you wanting to learn how to do tricks on your bikes, both from the flat, and also off ramps and obstacles too? Well now is your chance! If you are 8+ years, why not book yourself into our BMX freestyle classes right here at Movement Park.
BMX Flatland: Keep your eyes peeled for our special BMX Flatland sessions at Movement Park! Flatland is a freestyle BMX riding style performed on smooth flat surfaces that do not include any ramps, jumps, or grindrails. It is sometimes described as a form of artistic cycling with a blend of breakdancing.
Please note: All sessions must be booked online ahead of arrival.
