Parkour

Parkour

Parkour is about exploring and finding your limits, and then breaking boundaries to reach your full potential. It is about learning to challenge yourself, both mentally and physically whilst travelling around various obstacles using different movement techniques, such as vaulting, climbing, jumping and balancing!

Our toddler classes start with easy movements and lots of play. In P1-3 we focus on the fundamentals and from P4+ we add in more complex moves.

Skateboarding

Skateboarding

Skateboarding is a unique sport that teaches you perseverance, makes use of your creativity, and allows you to see your surroundings with a new perspective and it’s great for making new friends.

At Movement Park, we teach fundamentals, allowing you to feel comfortable enough on your board to practice in public skateparks, we also encourage creativity through different challenges and help you to learn to skateboard the safest way possible by teaching safe ways to fall, as we know it can be off-putting to begin skateboarding and immediately get hurt or feel as though you don’t know where to begin.

Cycling / BMX

Cycling

Movement Park is the place to be for all things bikes! We are on a mission to teach kids how to ride a bike confidently and even take them all the way up to racer level.

Learn to ride a bike at Movement Park

Our Learn to Ride sessions are for all those in P1+ who need a little extra help in learning to ride a bike. These are family sessions where we will work with you and your child to get them confidently pedalling on two wheels.

Movement Park Biker Club

The next step up from our learn to ride class is the Movement Park Bikers Club. This is for kids who are confidently pedalling but want to learn new skills, hit some ramps and build up their balance and speed.

Movement Park BMX Bandits

Our BMX Bandits are typically P3+ and they can join freestyle classes at Movement Park or start their racing journey on the BMX track at Knightswood.

Rollerskating

Rollerskating

At Movement Park we develop fundamental skating skills such as rolling, turning and stopping, through active and fun games.

Our coaching team show you how to do tricks and focus on the correct way to fall, practising ways to roll and bail out of a trick so everyone can enjoy roller skating safely.

And with it being such a creative activity it’s a great sport to do socially as you get input from new friends and learn together.
